An Art Crawl and a Proposal

It’s SATURDAY and the FALL FEST @ THE HERMITAGE is finally HERE! Come to the Hermitage for art, live music and tons of food! PLUS, there’s a chance you could help break a Guinness World Record. (Awesome, right?!) Here’s the deal….

Germany set the world’s record for the “Largest Cardboard Mosaic” back in 2010. And now, obviously, we have to beat them and dominate once again! This is where the Stacked Box Community Mural Program comes in. Everyone is invited to paint a box (or ten) and add them to a huge mural they’re assembling at the Hermitage Fall Fest. Our efforts have already drawn the attention of Guinness Book of World Records so they’ll be over there documenting the whole event.

I’ll be there in my little art booth and I hope you can all visit! Below are a few links for more details. PLUS there will be a FREE PRINT GIVEAWAY so you don’t want to miss out.

Speaking of FREE PRINT GIVEAWAYS… Congratulations LEAH TERRELL! You won the FREE PRINT GIVEAWAY at the Donelson Art Crawl! Here’s a cheesy shot of me in my station at the crawl (photo taken by Pam Montgomery Jackson). Thank you to everyone who came by and showed your support. You’re the ones who make art so fulfilling and it was fun to meet each of you!

And last, I’m so excited to show you this latest painting….Ed and Hillary (blog)

It was commissioned by a sweet man to commemorate the fountain where he proposed to his soon-to-be-wife, Hillary. (I know, so romantic!) He wanted it to be a birthday present so we had to keep it under wraps until she received it this week. Thanks for letting me be a part of this, Ed! 🙂

That’s all for now! Have a great week everyone!
