Dog Portraits and a “TREE-ific” New WATERCOLOR CLASS!
I’m excited to announce a new WATERCOLOR CLASS coming up later this month. Some of you have asked about lessons so this is for you. It’s open to kids and adults alike so you can make it a mother/daughter outing or a chance to hang out with your friends. We’ll be painting trees and going over some color basics.
Below are examples of the project. It’s super easy and involves a lot of splattering so plan to have fun. If you can’t make the class these trees are available in the ol’ Etsy shop.
We’ll be going over basic techniques so you can create any design you want. Here are the details:
Who: Everyone (beginner and kid friendly)
Where: My place (in Donelson/Nashville)
When: Evening – Thursday, July 31st 6:30pm-8:30pm
Afternoon – Saturday, August 2nd 1:00pm-3:00pm
(These are two separate sessions. You only need one.)
How: Email me to save your spot. All materials included.
Cost: $25
After the class you’ll have a completed 8″ x 8″ painting of your own tree to take home. To sign up send me an email.
And here’s “Howie,” the latest dog portrait. Howie was commissioned by the Reese family for their new dog-themed nursery. Congratulations to them and their growing family!
I’m kind of obsessed with painting dogs right now. If you know a dog-lover, holla atta sista! This was the last doggie in the pipeline and I’m already starting to miss the furry friends.
Thanks guys! Have a great weekend!
