Tennessee State Wet-On-Wet Project
Hello Friends! I just stumbled upon these fun watercolor projects featuring Tennessee and I just HAD to share them with you! These would be great at-home projects you could do yourself or even rope in the kids and grandbabies to do with you. 🙂
I cannot take credit for this idea. I found it on Etsy at this LINK.
Both of them use the same wet-on-wet technique and you can see how widely different the results can be.
To do something similar at home, just draw out an outline of Tennessee (or whatever state/shape you choose), put down a lot of water (this is the “wet” part), and use a wet brush to drop in your paint (the “….on wet” part). Leave your project alone and let it dry undisturbed and see what results you get.
Don’t forget to have fun and share your results with the rest of us! 🙂
